MEETING MINUTES – September – ASPE Baltimore Chapter 21

From the Chapter President

Well, here we are at the beginning of a new year and the start of my role as your new Chapter President. During the last couple of months, I have been reflecting on the past three years when I rejoined the Society, and compared that to where we are today. Under the leadership of my predecessors, John Myers and Alan Smolin, and with the help of many volunteers, we have seen many changes, some great programs and steady growth. I certainly want to keep those trends going.

At our first membership meeting in September, I want to spend the majority of our time discussing some of my thoughts and goals for the coming year. In addition, we need to make some committee assignments and will need some volunteers to step up and take on those roles with enthusiasm. John Brown has attached my outline of the meeting agenda, along with my notes about what we will be discussing. Please take some time to read and thoroughly digest this information so that we can have a good discussion of some very important topics for our chapter.

I hope that everyone had a safe and enjoyable summer and look forward to seeing you all in September. Remember, this is your organization and, it will only get better with your full support and enthusiastic and energetic participation.
