Baltimore Chapter #21 A.S.P.E. Links

Baltimore # 21 of The American Society of Professional Estimators was formed in the early 1970's to promote the goals of our national Society. We hold our monthly meetings on the Third Thursday of the month. Our meetings are open to all construction industry professionals. There is no charge to attend our meetings, and we welcome you to visit and or join our chapter.

Object of The American Society of Professional Estimators
Why we got started

The object of Society shall be:

  • To Further the recognition of construction estimating as a profession
  • To Promote education and contribute to the betterment of the construction industry,
  • To Observe and promote ethical standards of conduct.
  • To Establish and publish standard construction estimating practices.
  • To Administer a certification program by which professionalism in         construction estimating and adherence to these standards is recognized.

Who may join

We have the following memberships classifications:
Certified Professional Estimators
Estimators  (5 years as an estimator)
Associate Estimators  (less than 5 years as an estimator)
Constructors  (5 years as a construction industry professional)
Associate constructors (less than 5 years as a construction industry professional)
Students (a full time student in a curriculum leading to a degree or certificate in the construction industry)
Affiliates (employed in a construction industry related field)
